Bring the Kids Out for a Free Fishing Derby on Bull Shoals Lake!

Mark your calendars — this Saturday, June 6, 2026, we're hosting a Kids' Free Fishing Derby right here at Sugarloaf Harbor Marina on Bull Shoals Lake. It's a perfect family day on the water and a great way to get the little ones hooked on fishing!

Event Details

• Date: Saturday, June 6, 2026 - Registration begins at 8am, fishing by age group (new this year) as follows.
• Time:   9-10am Ages 4-8 fish
  •  10-11am Ages 9-12
  • 11am-12pm ages 13-17
  • 12pm-12:30pm lunch/awards
• Location: Lead Hill Campground next to Sugarloaf Harbor Marina, Bull Shoals Lake, Arkansas
• Cost: FREE for kids!
• Ages: 4-17 but everyone welcome to spectate!

What to Expect

• Derby net set up in the campground cove
• Prizes for biggest catch, most fish, and more
• One free meal for each kid, additional meals are extra $

What to Bring

Bring your fishing pole, chairs, bait, sunscreen, and a big smile!
